Ibiza Roller Skating Retreat – SOLD OUT
I’m incredibly grateful to be co-leading this one-of-a-kind roller skating retreat in Ibiza alongside Alba Ferrer (@rollskateart). This experience, designed to fuse artistic skating with roller dance, has officially sold out, and I can’t wait to roll with an amazing group of skaters in such a breathtaking setting.
This retreat holds a special meaning for me, and I want to extend a huge thank you to Alba for inviting me to be part of this adventure and for all the love, dedication, and effort she has put into making this retreat a reality.

Argentina's First Roller Dance & House Festival
I’m beyond happy to be part of this historic moment for the Roller Dance scene in Argentina! Roll & Dance Buenos Aires 2025 is more than just a festival—it’s a major step forward in spreading Roller Dance in the country and in building a diverse, creative community connected through movement.
This event is a celebration of all the talent, passion, and dedication that makes our scene so special. It’s been incredible to witness the love and effort that Naiara Calviño (@soy.nai) and Maia Queijeiro (@maia.queijeiro) have put into bringing this festival to life. Their vision, commitment, and hard work are making it possible for us to come together, connect, and share our love for skating and dance in ways we’ve never experienced before in Argentina.

Thanks to the beauties from @MedusaLab and @Mad__quads, I'll be hosting two workshops where we'll go over general technique review, spins and a roller dance choreo to keep the energy that Skate Love BCN 2023 left in us.
We will have one class for beginners and one for intermediate/advanced. If you are between two levels or are still undecided on which class to take, we recommend you join both to have access to a wide range of knowledge that you will be able to apply throughout your skating journey.

We are happy to announce our new online class service at The Roller Skating Academy!
We are now breaking barriers and bringing instructors from around the world as guests to offer you incredible online workshops.
Our goal is for you to enjoy your skating to the fullest, improving your skills through various teaching techniques and innovative skating styles.
We are pleased to announce that our first international class will feature Carlos Urquia, the double world champion in artistic skating. In this class, we will focus on perfecting spins and transitions, emphasizing edges and positions to elevate your expertise to new levels.
We understand that practice is key to perfecting any trick, so at the end of the class, we will provide you with a link to access the recording. This way, you will have the opportunity to continue practicing the techniques and tricks learned, whether you attended the class live or not.
Once you have purchased your ticket, you will receive a detailed email with all the necessary information and the direct link to the class.
There will be a class for beginner and another for intermediate / advance level. If you are in between levels or still undecided about which class to take, we recommend joining both to have access to a wide range of knowledge that you can apply until our next session.
And the best part is that these classes will be conducted in both Spanish and English so that everyone can participate and learn together! 🤯💖

Join Sofi at Love Skate Barcelona 2023, the world's largest roller skating festival, taking place from September 14th to 17th, in Barcelona, Spain!
We're thrilled to announce that Sofi has been selected to lead a session focusing on the importance of proper warm-up for all skaters.
Sofi's class will highlight the essential role of warm-up in the training routine of professional athletes, often overlooked by recreational skaters. Learn how a correct warm-up can help extend your lifespan on wheels by preventing injuries and enhancing performance.

Join us for an exciting day of roller skating, organized by The Roller Skating Academy in collaboration with Roller Dance Australia Association, with the aim of bringing together the vibrant roller skating community of Brisbane. Following the success of our first event, we're thrilled to bring you another day of family-friendly fun on Monday, May 1st, 2023, at Downey Park.
This free event is open to everyone and is perfect for a day of outdoor enjoyment with your loved ones. Come and skate to your heart's content while celebrating the Labor Day holiday doing what we're passionate about - roller skating!
The day will kick off with a warm-up routine without skates to get your muscles and joints ready for skating. Starting at 3:30pm, Sofia Cherchyk, the founder of The Roller Skating Academy, will lead the "Roller Skating Fundamentals" class. This class will focus on proper technique for skating forward and stopping using the "plow stop" technique, a fundamental but crucial skill for safe skating.
At 4:30pm, Sofia will then lead the "Roller Dance Choreography" class, suitable for all levels and ages. She will teach a versatile roller dance routine that can be used with different types of music, challenging participants' balance and coordination.
Throughout the event, there will be music playing to create a lively atmosphere, allowing participants to glide across the spacious surface while grooving to the beat. It's going to be a blast!
But that's not all! We'll also be hosting a special raffle. This time, we will have 2 prizes:
Prize 1: One "Tailored 4-week private online program" where Sofi will help you reach your goals through her special warm up and stretching videos and 4 online-class to take your skating journey to another level.
